Globe to Globe (Shakespeare's Globe)

The weekend before last Shakespeare's Globe had 'Sonnet Sunday' as part of the Globe to Globe festival they currently have going on. A friend was performing three sonnets in Latvian as part of the day so I wanted to go along. If Kit was older I would have jumped at the chance to visit the Globe for free anyhow. But, as expected, Kit wasn't really keen on sitting still and listening (thankfully we'd sat in the 'cheap seats' so we weren't disturbing too many people), we listened to one of Zinta's performances and then went in to eat food and listen to the singing inside (where Kit's heckling was more drowned out and he had room to roll across the carpet - one of his favourite activities at the moment).

If you hadn't heard about the Globe to Globe festival it's a brilliant idea. They are performing various Shakespeare plays in different languages. Check it out.
