A bloggie friend of mine made delicious banana and coconut cake for us this week. I must admit I've been put off buying them with the price, but I think it's time I made my old faithful banana bread recipe. Popping in from Maxabellas.
It was quite tasty. Glad I'm not in Australia, my aunt and uncle are coming over from Perth in a week and my aunt said she was really looking forward to eating lots of bananas as can't afford them out there at the moment. My son is actually a monkey, I think he would happily live of bananas alone! :)
I love it when a food forces you to bake like that. Some strawberries, cherries and greengages presented themselves as being a little soft yesterday and demanded to be made into a crumble. It was an unusual, but very welcome, combination. x
Enjoyed my visit to your blog ;o)
